Hey everyone,

This is probably going to be my final team going into Round 1 of 2013. All the players i have picked here i have closely followed over the pre season and i believe should all have a good year. However, i want more then just my opinion so if anyone reads this has spare time to let me know what could be done better i would love to hear it! Even if you just let me know my team looks good and doesn't need changing would be great too.

Backline: B Goddard, B Gibbs, P Hanley, D Heppel, J Pittard, D Terlich (S Docherty, L Stevenson)

Midfield: G Ablett, D Swan, J Kennedy, P Dangerfield, A Swallow, K Lucas, K Stevens, O Wines (B Crouch, J O'meara)

Ruck: S Jacobs, D Currie (S Rowe, J Witts)

Foward: D Cox, D Zorko, J Bartel, T Varcoe, P Karnnezis, B Macaffer(S Kerridge, J Neade)

So as you can see i have gone the standard Goddard and Gibbs for my elite premiums in the backline, but i have also thrown in 2 players who i believe could become elite premiums in Heppel and Hanley.

In the midfield i have gone a 5-2-1 strategy, i wanted to get 5 strong premiums and then 2 lower mid priced players with 1 high range rookie.

In the rucks i have chosen Jacobs who i believe will be the best ruckmen behind Cox this year, i have then chosen Currie as my R2 option because i think if he is able to provide 70+ it would be almost as good as what Leunberger would have to offer.

I have gone weak in my foward line because there isn't all that much to offer, i have decided not to get Franklin because the Hawks have a really hard run for the first 7 rounds but i will be picking him up sometime after round 7 depending on his price. I have decided to choose Karneziz and Varcoe who both could either make or break my team but that's a risk i have decided to take.

Thanks!

A lot to like here.

Concern is if Currie is not named round 1 (I would be surprised for one) that you would have to roll Cox into the Rucks and leave you short up forward (not sure Kerridge will play in a strong Crows outfit- even though he'd slide in at just about any other club. And Neade looks a vest candidate :-[)

If Currie isn't nameed Round 1 i'm in a bit of trouble, so im hoping he is! But if he inst i will try and get Longer or Leunberger into my team so i wouldn't have to resolve to switching Cox to the ruck as you said and leaving me with a weak forward line.
Kerridge is a hard one because as you said he would play for most other teams and he is a half decent player but if hes not names round 1 ill have to get someone else. As for Neade hes probably a better option then any other rookie so i might have to keep him even with the risk of him being vested every week

I think you should go a 4-1-4 approach to your mids if you were going to have a mid pricer in there and I think that there is better options then Kane Lucas. The cash you have left over tip into your rucks then you don't have to worry about currie just have him sit on the bench for back up. I think your forward line is also a little weak. But I like your defenders

Can you rate mine??
