A solid team with no glaring weaknesses. Seems very standard as far as your selections go, I dont have SC gold to find the percentages but i think you have gone with very popular selections. Perhaps look for a point of difference in your team to separate yourself from the pack. That being said im going to go with a 8.8/10 for a good team

Def: Hope Hartlett can play a full season otherwise he is a waste of a pick.
Mids: Very Solid
Rucks: Standard
Fwds: Solid

OVERALL: your team is similar to many other teams may need to find a unique but i give it an 8/10

I think that is the best advice that can be given to a lot of people at this stage. Many teams are starting to look similar which, IMO, speaks for the nature of such a competition and the psychological factors involved. We all visit sites like FF, TS etc to find good information and discuss thoughts with others. Many people may select a team that is unique in terms of players and structures but then find that 'most people' are doing something else and, as a result, question their own plans and ideas, and begin to conform with the majority. I suppose that this is a sort of convergence effect. However, it isn't the majority that wins a competition.

Basically, OP, your team is quite good, and very solid, as has been said. You should do well with this team assuming that you make reasonably good decisions throughout the year but you (probably - have to cover myself here lol) won't win, or even do exceptionally well, by being generic. I'm not trying to say you should take unwarranted risks or do something outrageous for the sake of being different but the winner of a competition like this needs to do something different to the masses (and get a little lucky too). Maybe you'll do that during the season and there is plenty of time and opportunity for bold moves and trades but as it stands, and please don't think I'm having a go or being harsh by saying this, your team is too standard.

+1 a very good way of putting it Redfield, a cheer for you sir.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will see if I can sneak a little bit of innovation in and get a couple of uniques without compromising the structure to much.

Hey hey Bradley,

Nice team. Don't be put off by people saying you're just following the pack.

Most of your selections are tried and tested. Low risk and will score well.

The prize is not won with your starting team, but can be lost.

It is won with smart trades, delistings and timely pick ups.

Only thing I worry about is Goldberger.

Stick fat if you are happy and just trade wisely and you'll do really well.
