Ok guys so decided to post my current team bit different to most

I strongly believe stacking forwards is the right strategy this year

Cox+Buddy average like mids anyway so get them in and then get mid rookies instead of forward rookies as mid rookies will score more and the lack of forward rookie options is worrying me

i know 4 premo mids is weak but my theory is Cox+Buddy makes up for that and the 4 mids i chose are super premos

i think this team has huge scoring potential and i'm very happy with it

fwds are massively stacked. D/G one to increase the other lines.
4 premos is ok, if you get your mid rookies right you'll have plenty of U/G players.
downside of that plan is that you'll fall behind in the points to people who have 5 super premos or 4 & mundy/or similar.
def is ok, i like the 3 premo structure. all should finish top 10.
vlastuin is expensive and most likely vested.
iffy on goldy, hasnt showed much at all.

I agree about stacking the forwards but not at the expense of the mids.

I would def downgrade Robinson to Byrnes and then turn a Rookie into Moloney. They will more than match the Robbo/rookie combo and give u a more stable midfield. (the more rookies u have to field the greater chance of someone not playing/being vested) Also maybe enough cash left to go Goldstein > Jacobs or similar.

That would then be an awesome team IMO

Agree with comments probably have one prem to many in fwds,

Look at downgrading one to either a rookie or Byrnes, Pettard or similar and upgrade to a mid prem eg Ball Embley or Moloney and team would be super,

I like this plan.

Robbo (your indulgence in fwd line) will probably score more than the alternatives suggested ie Ball, Embley etc.

Avoiding another deadwood fwd rookie for the season will be to your advantage.

A couple of minor quibbles / suggestions would be - decide either Pendles / Swan and sub in Cotchin (save a bit of money for not a great loss of points which also gives you one less round 13 gun and that means more points then as well. The money saved could be combined with money saved on getting rid of Vlastuin for another def rookie like Terlich / Docherty.

I think you'd cash up to the tune of $103200. add this to your leftover and see where you can improve your team.

However, having said that, I like it.

To you guys saying about the mids being a premo short having Buddy+Cox makes up for this IMO plus the mid rookies will outs score forward rookies making up for it even more so

Yeah I might consider Swan to Cotchin
