Backs- not to bad but I'd swap Shaw for Gibbs
Mids- not sure why you would go for jud and hodge. Try Prendlebury and, as a smokey, Cunnington
Ruck- swap goldy for leuy to free up some money for your mids
Forwards- pretty good but not sure knights is a strong choice, hopefully I'm wrong there.

Notes:
- Have chosen to go with a very strong midfield as my main source of high end points
- Broughton I feel will be a good roughie this year
- Knights had a good hit out last week

Better team now.

Just consider the byes though.

Not a huge issue, but if you aren't absolutely set on say Heppell and Watson, look elsewhere as round 13 bye involves at least 6 of your top players.

Slightly more of an even spread won't compromise your scoring leading up to the bye rounds but will help during those rounds.

Just interested to know your reasoning on Bartel in Mids.  Just think there are better options available. Bartel is now averaging less than 100 points per game so bit pricey if he continues his slide as he has done for last 3 years. Ball, Embley or Moloney will more than score as well  at cheaper price.

I have posted in a couple of threads regarding Heppell - Watch the effect Goddard has on his scores- Just have a concern after watching second NAB cup game - Goddard Stepped up and Heppell faded out.

Couple of suggestions but your team and go with gut>

Move Cox to forward line instead of Broughton (whose role at Suns is hard define as yet)
Downgrade Bartel and bring in a prem ruck you are able to afford.

If worried about Heppell and confident with Broughton bring in Broughton in Defence.

Def: Solid no real problems here although Goddard may effect Heppells Scoring. so maybe move broughton to defence as Ringo has mentioned
Mids: Would downgrate Bartel to Moloney this will give you more money to work with
Rucks: I also agree that Cox should be up forward either Maric or Sandilands here would replace either Witts or Currie with Rowe.
FWDS: Move Cox Here to take advantage of DPP.

Overall your team is nearly there better than the previous one you posted give it an 8/10

Don't ever consider Sandi, his day Is done. I'm not sure on bartel he's not as strong as he used to be you could try Fyfe or gaff (these guys will score better and save you money). Also Christensen or jetter would be a better pick than broughton. I thought your back line looked great but Ringo brings up a good point.
Don't worry bout the byes to much we have heaps of trades to use if you need to.

Put Bartel in the fwd line. Or it is a bad pick. Id rather embly or ball instead in the mids. Saves 200k

MIDS - Ablett, Pendlebury, Kennedy, Dangerfield, Moloney, Wines, O'Meara, Viney (Lonergan, Mitchell)

RUCKS - Goldstein, Leuenberger (Rowe, Currie)

FWDS - Franklin, Cox, Rockliff, Christensen, Byrnes, Macaffer (Lee, Cameron)

I wasn't completely sold on Maric. I'm still 50/50 with Goldstein, have been contemplating getting Jacobs but am not sure what to do with that position. Couldn't have a team without Franklin, has always been in my team for years now. Pendlebury I think is good money for value for M2 instead of Swan, should have the same output as him too.
