Does anyone have any ideas about how Brisbane will structure up in the ruck, both for Rd 1 and throughout the season?
Luenberger's health is of concern, especially after pulling out last weekend. Even if selected, you have to imagine that he will need some help. My main reason for asking is in relation to Stefan Martin. Does he become a viable option? If he splits time between ruck and forward he could score 90+ as he did 2 years ago. So far in the NAB he has played exclusivly as a forward, but surely they won't play 2 genuine ruckman. Peoples thoughts on Martin's viability as a R2?

Will answer for you -

Found out today that Berger was suffering from 2 ailments a Bad Back and Achilles  was a little sore.  However this was not is the same leg as the major one which kept him out.  As a precaution sent for scans and awaiting results.  So still a possibility of playing round 1 albeit remote.
Just watch how much time Martin spends in Ruck on Friday night.  Longer will do the bulk of ruck work though.   So far in the NAB cup Martin has not been used in ruck as it has been shared usually between Longer and Michael.
Martin may be a sound option for you but will be at FF most of the time so need to factor that in.

hey ringo what do you think longer a good R2 SELECTION

He will make way when Berger comes in so would not consider unless Berger is away for 3 weeks.  Will not make any cash if he is only there for one or 2.

Your decision though.

Even if Berger creeps into the side, surely he would be nowhere near match-fit with all this leg, ankle, achilles business going on.  Unlikely to trouble the scorekeepers for a few games so I'm steering well clear until he gets his fitness levels up.
