 ;)
G'day again Mr L. Got an interesting one for you. Ben Jacobs. Glandular fever and no preseason in first year.
ankle problems almost cementing him to the ground in his second season.
Traded to North for his third season, ankles fixed and doing a solid preseason.
$309,200 isn't that cheap but this guy may just be about to unleash some untapped scoring terror (I Hope )
Cheers.

Past Supercoach Averages

Year    Games    Average
2011    12    56.7
2012    14    57.8

2011
Ben debuted in round 8 of 2011. He racked up 14 disposals and 5 marks. Ben played decently for the rest of the year and held his place in the teams back half. He picked up over 20 disposals 3 times and starred in a loss against North Melbourne with 24 disposals, 6 marks and 4 tackles.

2012
Ben never really got his feet off the ground in season 2012. His ankles apparently were causing him problems all season and never really improved on season 2011. Bens season ended in the SA derby injuring his hurt ankle requiring him to miss the rest of the season.

2013
Ben moved to North Melbourne in the trade period of the AFL offseason and since then has been treated by the elite medical staff at North Melbourne who could not believe he "could still run and even get through games at all," Jacobs looks set for a breakout year!

Mid-Priced Player Rating - 9/10 - I would be putting my money on Jacobs to break out this year. Only thing holding me back is that Nathan Bock who is an All-Australian when at his peak, is around the same price as Jacobs. I would watch him in the NAB like most people will be but be very cautious that this is very risky to pick him. He could go 90+ or be a huge disappointment like Andrejs Everitt. My bet is on him to go well though
Scoring range: 55-95

Sabretooth Tigers

Magnificent write up again Mr L.  Bit of a hunch he will get some mid time, so will be watching the NAB very closely. Toying with the idea of playing him D3 instead of P Hanley but keeping the cash difference in the till, but only if he shows something in the NAB. As you said he has the potential to be something special but at a risk. And even at this stage it's almost worth taking. Hmmn perhaps Sandi down to Goldy (Pending NAB) then rookie up to Jacobs making Def    Goddard, Gibbs, Hanley, Jacobs, O'Shea and B Staker  //  RES  D Terlich,   T Clurey. Thanks again and cheers.

Past 3 Years Review

2010

Not much to report in 2010 with Hartlett as injuries and being on the fringe kept him to 4 games. He had a fantastic game though in round 12 against Sydney racking up 25 disposals, 7 marks, 5 tackles and a goal

2011

This was Hamish's year. He only played 16 of the 22 games (due to injury) but he racked up more than 20 disposals 9 times during the season. This was a fair achievement considering he was playing in the backline for most of the year. He showed what he is capable of though in round 16 where he racked up 32 disposals and took 7 marks.

2012

Hamish started last season like a house on fire but cooled down as the season progressed. He injured his hamstring in round 12 which kept him out until round 19. In his comeback he showed again his potential racking up 27 disposals on the wing against the hawks

Premium Priced Player Rating - 9/10 - Hamish comes to my mind like a Nathan Fyfe type player, he has the potential to be great but is walking on a bed of nails when his out on the field. He is a star player to my mind when his out on the field. I think he is a very very valid pick but I will start the season without him because I personally think Jack Grimes will be slightly better (probably because I'm a Melbourne fan) but he will go 95+ this year

G'day again Mr L. I'm looking for another cheapish bargain to go with O'Shea, Goodes, Pittard and Docherty. At the moment it's
out of Luke Brown and Joel Wilkinson. There's plenty done on Brown but I can't locate anything on Wilkinson. If you have time would you please be able to do one on him ? Where do you get all your info from, your profiles are excellent. Cheers in advance and hope we fight out the final round. 8)

Sorry about the delay fellas, been bombarded with homework. Will try my best to get some up tonight :)

Fantasy Freako Says: Not in the prospectus

Jack Redpath’s physical size before being drafted to the Bulldogs has been a great asset to the 21 year old, as he tries to assert himself and go bump for bump against the big bodied defenders in the VFL. Selected with pick 62 in the 2011 Rookie Draft, he adds depth to the Dogs key forward stocks.

Redpath was showing steady improvements in the VFL playing for Williamstown last year, assuming the role of a key target in the forward line. His marking ability has improved as has his confidence. A broken wrist forced his season to end early. Source: Western Bulldogs Site

Rookie Priced Player Rating - 4/10 - Too risky for my mind. Not only his he a mystery as far as production wise with no stats he is a Key forward and will probably peak around 25-27. Is a absolute tank but won't score highly and gametime isn't guarnteed.
Scoring Range: Hard to know, 25-60

2010
Koby started his first season well playing 5 games in a dismal eagles side. He played on the half forward flank averaging 12 disposals also adding 2 goals for the season to his totals

2011
Koby was starved for opportunities as the eagles improved into a top 4 side. He only played 2 games with limited gametime.

2012
2012 was much the same for Koby as 2011 again playing only a few games. He did show a lot of promise against GWS when most of the eagles stars were rested picking up 19 disposals and taking 7 marks

Rookie Priced Player Rating
- 8.5/10 - If he was basement priced he would be in everybody's team making him slightly unique. In my opinion it depends completely on how many premiums your midfield is starting with. For example if you have 6 premiums or mid-pricers I would have to leave Koby out with Viney,Crouch,O'meaga and Kane Mitchell most likely all going to score similar or higher than Koby at a lower price. For that reason I would leave Koby out even though he is a fantastic pick. He will be solid but with all the midfield rookies this year it will be a no for me.
Scoring Range: 60-85
