defs - goddard, gibbs, reilly, lake, bock, R. O'keefe (yagmoor, terlich)
mids - Cotchin, Priddis, redden, heppell, moloney, ball, Embley, o'meara (wines, Crouch)
Ruck - Roughead, Leuenberger (hannath, osborn)
for. - cox, walker, rockliff, krakouer, varcoe, macaffer (byrnes, lee)

def: yagmoor, lake, okeefe and reilly id think harder on: 3/10 - only cause you have goddard and gibbs
mids: id have heppell up the back and bring in gaz if you have the cash (potentially from downgrading a fwd that will be mentioned), priddis - better options, 5/10
ruck: Roughhead really? and have a closer look at rookies here 3/10
fwd: only area that is semi (and i mean semi) decent, i would reassess krak to a rookie to use the money in the mids for gaz 6/10

gaz is an absolute lock in mate

overall 4.25/10

you wanted honest, i certainly hope your in my league

Hi Mark621,

Thanks for the feedback, great tips, and i love your honesty, its funny how this guy at work said similar comments. I wasn't sure if he was just confused and disillusioned about the glory have a more than disappointing season though, hopefully for his sake they get up. It would be interesting to see how we would go head to head with our early teams... take that as a challenge.

i will see you on the field. Peace. :P

Defs: Goddard and Gibbs are good standard picks, Riellly is a POD and may very well be a handy player to have. Not too sure about Lake though and Bock is very unlikely to play in round 1. Rhys O'keefe is an interesting choice but you could probably find a rookie which averages the same and save $70,000. As a suggestion, downtrade Lake to either Yarran or Atley.

Mids: Cotchin is a solid choice, Priddis isn't one of my personal favourites but if he can take his game to another level this year then he's handy to have from the start. The only thing you lack is a genuine captain so I'd look at downtrading either ball, embley or moloney to a rookie and using the extra cash to turn either Redden or Priddis into JPK, Swan, Ablett or Pendlebury. Also look at upgrading Heppell to Fyfe or to Mundy; these two will have better seasons. If you can go further, try to upgrade Heppell to a super premium.

Rucks: Good, no comments. Like the DPP with Roughy.

Fwds: Cox, Walker and Rocky are all great picks. Personally I'd try to upgrade Krakouer to somebody like Martin or Wright as you need to have another premium-like player down the front. Byrnes is too expensive to sit on the bench so I'd downtrade him to a rookie and use the money elsewhere.

Lot of stuff I like but it does need another look. All up I'll give you 6.5/10

Cheers Stormy for your comments... definitely going to have a look into a more solid captain choice and a premo-like forward.

Def: I would get rid of Bock O'keefe & Yagmoor just to start off replace with 3 cash cows e.g Stevenson,Doherty also downgrade lake to yarran or for a cheaper option Russell.
Mid: Upgrade Heppell to Ablett or Pendlebury too many midpricers here would downgrade ball or embley to a Cash Cow e.g Toumpas or Lonergan
Rucks: Roughead is a POD
Fwds: Replace Byrnes with Neade and upgrade Krakouer to a unique pick like Christensen or if you have more cash upgrade to Martin

Overall team has too many problems particular up back 5.5/10
