I know there are quite a few mid priced options for the midfield but just wanted to chuck this guys name up. Pretty much locked into Ports side, should shake the best this year with the new players coming through so should up the average. Slightly cheaper then the safer pick of Embley but was considering a Moloney/wingard combo for mid 5/6
Thoughts?

GM

I would probably have wines instead of Wingard, but he will definetley increase his ave this year imo.

I was considering both  ;D

his last 3 games were great. however i would rather spend the extra cahs going up to moloney or embers or save some cash goign down to a rookie.

Wingard is a gun!!!! very tasty price helped by the fact that he was red/green vested a lot in his first year, last few games last year gave insight into what he can do, I think he scored a 91 there. A 2nd full preseason under his belt and should be ready to fire this year.

Should definately improve his average to 80-85 and would be an interseting POD although a little risky with the likes of Moloney and Embley with proven past history perhaps better options for a midpriced midfielder.

Watch him in the remaining NAB cup games and if you're confident then pick him as a POD, you can always side trade to Embley for an extra $15K if things not looking good early.

Yeh I like he way Wingard plays but I'm not prepared to spend that much on an unproven second year player. And as TP said try and find the extra 15k on Embley if possible. Just don't think his body and told is DT ready just yet. Will be a gun though. Candidate for a 3rd year breakout though.

Will definatelly play more than Wines, should have a great year and could be a decent cash maker, certainly won't be ave 90+ this season though, well possibly but unlikely, still could cop a vest or two

Next year lookout ;)

Noz

Chad will play more in the middle this season than float around half forward, He won't receive the vest as many times as last season
His game against Brisbane he played solely in the middle and score 90 dream team points alongside 27 touches I will be expecting a 20 point increase this season taking it to roughly 68-70 will be a lock in many teams next year for sure.

Wines to average 60

Windigo

In a couple of years will be class player. But with Embers around the same price.....No.
