Debating whether Wright is a better choice than Martin as a forward. Both are DPP and cost same.
I think Wright will go Bang this year but is a risk, whereas Martin on the otherhand has proved he CAN score big (not last year though).
Who would people choose. It's for the 3 fwd position???

GM

Yeah, both could go bang.
Wright to me seems to be a more reliable choice.
Time will tell on Dusty whether he can knuckle down and become the star he could be.

tor01doc

Sorry to be obtuse, but Rockliff.

I couldn't possibly go back for more Dustbin teasing and I don't know enough about Mr Wright (although my wife did marry one!  ;D)

Can you afford Rocky or Tex?

Chappy is consistent too.

Of the 2 you put forward - Wright.

DPP not so important here unless you have a DPP in mids as well which is less than likely.

lol, your wife got lucky aswell. 8)

EL TIGER

Dustbin - he's going to have a massive year

Hagebear

Yeh dusty for me. It is a big if as he's a bit of a loose cannon but I just think he's a much better footballer then Matty Wright (Wrighty is still a quality footballer) and just think 'if' he gets his head switched on he could be a star of the competition. Here's hoping its this year!

Ricochet

Hard to spilt the two but I'm looking at it this way.

Thompson, Dangerfield, Van Berlo, Vince, Sloane are all imo midfield locks before Wright (in terms of real life, not fantasy)

Where as Cotchin, Lids, Tuck are ahead of Dusty.

TBag could probably give more insight for Adelaide and the Tigers boys on here for Richmond.

But my point is I think Dusty will get more quality midfield time than Wright.

fever

cannot consider dustin. as far as i can tell nothing has changed for him since last year, and he was a horrid disappointment.

rocky>wright>dustface

Hawko

Hmmm some great points. Def right with Wright being lower down in adel pecking order compare to dusty. I also agree Dusty should have a big year with Choco holding his hand (and his joint whilst he plays the game  ;D
I currently have cox, rockliff, dusty/wright, Kennedy, Byrnes, macaffer as the starters. Still undecided on Kennedy due to his injury whom l may also replace with varcoe.
I think dustpan may be the more reliable option... security wise, Having Wright would be a gamble.
Thanks

Hawko

Yeah l have $$ left and can afford to upgrade Martin/wright to tex but l would like to keep DPP on fwd line as l have Neade in the midfield as a rookie

Hawko

Revised: Cox, Tex, Wright, Martin, Byrnes, macaffer

Dusty, he's had a good pre season and averaged 88 (or 92 if you take out his injury affected game) and averaged 98 in his second season   :o, so will bounce back and should average over 100  ;)
Also found this in SuperCoach Paige, which might be helpful for you

Nothing wrong with that line up if Martin does what the unbiased JRoo says is Wright.

Agree Ric. And Matty Wright can have the odd run-with role.
