BC2010

Salary cap left: $16,000.

Brendon Goddard, Bryce Gibbs, Dyson Heppell, Jasper Pittard, Brett Goodes, Sam Docherty
Lewis Stevenson, Dean Terlich

Matthew Boyd, Scott Pendlebury, Jack Redden, Andrew Swallow, Josh P. Kennedy, David Armitage, Kane Mitchell, Brad Crouch
Jaeger O'Meara, Jack Viney

Tom Bellchambers, Matthew Leuenberger
Sam Rowe, Daniel Currie

Tom Rockliff, Jordan Lewis, Nick Riewoldt, Matthew Wright, Allen Christensen, Jarryd Lyons
Brent Macaffer, Jake Neade

Reasons for certain players:
Armitage/Reiwoldt/J.Kennedy - soft starts
A.Swallow - great last half of 2012
Lyons - likely to replace B.Smith early

Have tried to find one or two mid-priced breakout players (Bellchambers, Christensen).

Anyone think this will work, or is not having Swan/Ablett committing DT suicide??

I like the blokes you've put in to your team, but think you need at least one of swan or Ablett, those captains points are so important!!

Although Boyd could be a decent option as well I think you still need one of the big guys!

Also your defense could really do wit another upgrade, maybe downgrade Armitage to wines, and upgrade one of your def rookies to a premium ala Broughton.

whke armitage Nroo and Kennedy do have a soft start I would keep just one of them and the other 2 have guys you would like to keep long term. You still only get 2 trades a week and none of these guys you want in your team long term. Armitage down to a rookie and Kennedy up to Swan or ABlett.

Swan Fan

Keep Kennedy and Riewoldt as it makes good sense and you should make alot of money, or drop Kennedy for McVeigh, O'Keefe as they may may make you even more... I am going in a similar way with my team... make extra money on the soft draw...  I would drop Boyd for Ablett though, must have at least one of the them in..    ;D

I would like to have seen your backs a bit stronger for not having the super premium mids.

Also, while belchambers may break out, having Cox in your fwds as cover for him and Burger would make sense

Can understand the thinking behind the soft draw starts, but you need to think that Swan and ablett will both probably still be scoring 105+ each week

Sorry but no Ablett+Swan makes your team a little bit weak IMO. Especialyl as you don't appear to have made up for it in other positions.

Only three def premiums? I think you need four, or at least 3+Broughton.

You're also missing out on a lot of cash with only 4 midfield rookies - your midpricers aren't going to make you that much.

Bellchambers is too big a risk imo. There are a lot of better options out there.

Interesting about Lyons - if he does replace Smith he's be a great pick, will have to look him up.

Capper

Very gutsy call imo, i dont like Boyd this year due to the way the Dogs finished the second half of last season. Big worry, he is a star but the Dogs played dreadful footy and Boyd got most of his stats from quick one-two HBs and then a kick, but that kick was my biggest concern as it wasnt finding a dogs players at least 50% of the time
