Please RMT! Looking for balance.

DEF: Goddard, Gibbs, Hartlett, Heppell, B. Goodes, Docherty, (Stevenson, Terlich)
MID: Swan, Cotchin, Murphy, J. Redden, Fyfe, Crouch, O'Meara, Viney, (K. Mitchell, T. Mitchell)
RUC: Mumford, Leuenberger, (Currie, Sinclair)
FWD: Cox, Roughead, Rockliff, Johnson, Bock, Mayes, (Macaffer, Neade)

CASH LEFT: $99,400

I know what you guys might say about Buddy not being there, but I like to have a POD there.

Looks pretty good Popey, Bock has a big question mark over him though making it to round 1. Apart from that you look pretty solid....might spend that 99K on making Redden/Fyfe into an top line premo in the middle but thats bout it

Popey99

I like both Redden and Fyfe there. Was gonna do exactly what you said but I've settled on the fact that (with some inside thoughts from a 10 coach and a lot of heavy research) both will average 115+. I see Redden turning himself into a top 5-6 mid this year.

And I'm waiting on GAJ. Will pop him in when his price comes down, which it inevitably has to.

Fair enough if your confident with them don't change it on my account haha just trying to find a way to spend that cash, maybe look at changing Bock....maybe if you take him down to Byrne then you could turn mummy into a real top line ruckman, I think under the ruck rule changes this year the comments i've seen are that mummy may struggle under those rules

On a sidenote...you and i are dead even in the FF classic League for the A-League hahaha :p

Popey99

Yeah great point on Mummy actually, didn't even consider that until now. Bock is a lock if he plays R1. If not I'll see I spose...
That 80-150k range is always difficult to spend. Feels like too much to have sitting there but you don't feel like you get a massive gain by using it...

Thanks for your input mate.

Capper

i really like the selection of the big mummy in there.

From the sounds of it though Bock wont play the first couple of games as he has just started to run a couple of weeks ago.

I know what you guys might say about Buddy not being there, but I like to have a POD there.

Mumford's injury record and the fact that he has missed an average of 5.25 games per year over the past 4 years is a real worry. Also Pyke is looking better in a reverse Goldstien theory kind of way.

I love the fact that the following players are touted as fantasy gold or relevant - Adcock, Hanley, Docherty, Redden, Rockliff, Leuenberger and Zorko. Where are they from - oh yeah - that Powerhouse from Brisbane! Be careful.

No Buddy no problem but I'd pick him every day of the year since he is the highest scoring forward available and costs what he does for a reason.

Good luck.

PICCOLLO

Your money balance/distribution is good.
Redden more dt relevant imo.
Im sure you're aware of the dangers of hartlett.
Bock v.unlikely for round 1.
Fwd cover a bit weak.
The rest is excellent and i can't fault your choices.

Popey99

Thanks for your input guys.

@tor01doc, I reckon that Brisbane will have a massive surge forward this year. 6-10th for me this year.

Have made a few changes. Decided Redden is a DT player after doing a bit more digging. Will be in my DT but not SC team.
Buddy is back in. Had the cash to get him in for Roughy and thought why not. And I believe Stevie J may be rubbed out for Rd1 with an incident last night. Has 80 carry over points...

Changes:
Roughy -> Buddy
Bock -> Byrnes
Redden -> Dangermouse.
Stevie J -> Bartel

Leaves me like this:
DEF: Goddard, Gibbs, Hartlett, Heppell, Goodes, Docherty, (Stevenson, Terlich)
MID: Swan(C), Dangerfield, Cotchin(VC), Murphy, Fyfe, Crouch, O'Meara, Viney, (K. Mitchell, T. Mitchell)
RUC: Mumford, Leuenberger, (Currie, Sinclair)
FWD: Franklin, Cox, Bartel, Rockliff, Byrnes, Mayes, (Macaffer, Neade)

Looks good mate solid team. Only concern is murphy being top Mids. Problem with murphy is he has trouble breaking tags and has oddly shape scores. Other then that give team a solid 8.6 mate

johnnytheboy1

Backs: Solid good decision by having Heppell in your team not sure about Hartlett though.
Mids: Very Solid Fyfe will have a top year from what i have read on some other supercoach web sites.
Rucks: Seems Solid to me Mumford has been in many teams so could be good POD
Rucks: Solid only query is Bartel there are probably better options at his price like Hawkins

Overall Strong team if you Hartlett & Leuey then you have 14 Premiums i giver your team an 8.5/10

Popey99

Don't go for KPP forwards.. Bartel has won a brownlow and is good for a ton most week sin my books.

Hartlett smashed it up tonight and I can see him averaging 100+.

Thanks for your input guys!!
