Could this team work? Or I am gimping myself with a lack of Midfielders?

If your only aim is to win your league....then yes this could work out because those mid rookies should rise higher than rooks in other positions....if going for overall then no chance, giving up so many points through the midfield over the first part of the season will be really difficult to make up

This is how irate your team Dopeh

Backs: Far too strong you don't have any cash cows on the field you need them to make money so you upgrade to premiums later Probably should get Stevenson & Terlich into the defence. & leave out Broughton & Yarran
Mids: Far too weak you won't league games with 6 stating cash cows 4 is the maximus get another 2 premiums into that midfield

Rucks:Solid rucks
Fwds: Again you are too strong i would say leave out Martin get someone like Shannon Byrnes or Mayes from the lions into the team

Overall As your team is unbalanced i give it a 7/10

Please rate my team

At first when I seen this team I said is this a joke.

Then I did some analysis and thought maybe a different strategy that may work.

Looked at team this way
Def: 5 prem defenders plus Yarran who may become a prem.
Mids: Only 2 prems but possibly both Top 3 and then rookies.
Rucks: Prem In Sandilands and Berger may become a prem if he regains form,
Fwds: 5 prems plus Varcoe.

So overall team has 13/14 prems already which most teams have.

Only Issue that needs to be resolved is how many points are you losing by having the all prem back and forawrd lines against the prem mid set up.  Balance this against rookie mids who will rise quickly in value and score more points than forward or defence rookies.

Interesting but risky strategy but if it pays off will be great.
