I know there isn't much money left but just like to see what peoples thoughts are...
Dwyer is a bit of a risky pick, does anyone know if Collingwood is able to upgrade a rookie before the start of the season?

colmullet

i think this team is great man, nice and balanced and nice and strong in the middle, just hope you can squeeze all playing rookies in without having to compromise the rest of your team

Ringo

Nice team her Felsty.

Rate it 9/10

Two slight concerns and these have been documented in other posts - Murphy with ability to shake a tag,
Zorko only 2nd year whilst mature aged may still have a let down.  Showed signs of struggling last couple of games last year.  Also concerned that he has been training with forward group at Lions so may have reduced mid time.

Ringo you might be a good guy to talk to about Zorko.. Tried to find a bit out about the intra club game this week. I saw him line up in the centre square a fair bit first quarter than seemed to be placed in more of a forward role.. Surely will run through the mids won't he? The way I see it he was predominantly fwd last season so any stints in the mids can only improve his average..

Murphy will be traded to Cotchin if sufficient funds can be found..

Ringo

Bit more detail for you.  Docherty was on him and wore him like a glove.  I would say Docherty had the better of him for the game (adds more weight to tag argument).  Went forward to try and shake tag but Doc went with him and won a lot of his own ball.

Brisbane has a midfiled of Moloney, Rockliff, Reddan, Black (when he returns), Beams, Bewick, Polec, Hanley/Rich rotating,  Mayes is also held in high regard and he did not play yesterday.  Any time Zork runs through mids will be dictated by match situation I believe.

BacKs: Very Solid the 3 premium backs will be popular this year.
Mids: 5 excellent premiums although i agree with Ringo about Murphy will explain a way you can get Cotchin without losing a Premium
Rucks Sandy will play alot more games this year
Fwds: Strong Fwds Prefer only one of Rockliff or Zorko.

Suggestions There are 3 options that you could get Cotchin into the team
Downgrade Zorko to Hawkins
Downgrade Varcoe to Byrnes
Downgrade Sandilands to Goldstein

felsty

downgraded varcoe to byrnes for now and upgraded murphy > cotchin

zorko is a bit of a risk but i see him as less of a risk than a lot of mid pricers and could be a handy POD for me..
i feel as though he can almost be talked about in the same bracket as dangerfield, sidey, beams and to a lesser extent martin were last year - more mid than fwd player and lucky to be given fwd eligibility - something that i hope can work in my favour and get on him this year

few things i do like about him in the fwd line as well is his goal kicking ability and his scores last year when he did hit the scoreboard

Hippo

Now your team will look like everyone elses on here

i prefer Sandi over Goldy, Zorko over Hawkins but agree Byrnes is more value than Varcoe

Every man and his wife, his brother his father will have Cotchen, i believe Murphy or Mundy will close to the same if not only 5-10 less, if they do avg the same and everyone has Cotchen and you dont then you will be in a better situation. Remember you would have Sandi over Goldy and Zorko who minus a sub game avg more than Hawkins and has a easier start.

Good luck
