It's been like a deserted town in this mighty part of town. Whilst threads have been bursting with drug cheating, tanking and non contract signing for once the Pies have been flying un the radar.  It's time to talk it up.

What are the three things you are looking forward to seeing from the Pies this season.

Obviously we all want a flag but I'll start with a few that I'm looking forward to.

1) I would love to thrash Carlton in round 2. Only a Grand final victory will probably surpass the joy this would bring.

2) I'm looking forward to Cloke and Lynch together. Lynch won't save the world but we really did end up carrying Dawes last year (I wish him well).

3) Young to Cloke has a bit of bowled Lilllee caught Marsh feel to it. Also applicable are Jarman to Dunstall, Matera to Sumich or I am told Price to McKenna.

Others?

1. Travis Cloke bounce back to form. Although he still kicked 50 goals and led the league yet again in contested marks, the perception is he underperformed. Love Cloke to dominate like 2011, and push for a Coleman medal.

2. Luke Ball to be perenially underrated again, with opposition teams again giving him no respect and for Ball to keep influencing games.

3. Witts and/or Grundy making a debut and showing something for the post-Jolly world

1. That fat, lazy, drug riddled , tattoed, layabout Swannie takes out the brownlow... again.
2. Dane Beams runs amok. Increases his DT/SC output on last year.
3. Heater has an absolute blinder of a season. Plays every game. Kicks 25 goals off half back. All Australian.
8)

already have, i am tipping russell to provide some great run and delivery also, cloke is a lock for me.

but my 3.

1. Beams wins brownlow - super star a true magpie - love him.
2. win the flag - we deserve it clearly the best side. If not at least beat Carlton.
3. regain the dominance/hoodoo we had over Sydney - that was handy 7-8 years never losing a game. tsk tsk

What is Jordan Russell's disposal like generally?

Cloke is not known for leading and taking chest marks, but it would be nice if got a few easy ones as well as contested marks.

Same top 3 for me mate, with the grundy/witts combo first priority!
