So many midfield mid-pricers... Gaaaaaaaah!

Cunnignton might be a cheeky Ball alternative if it looks like Ball will be slowly eased into the season..?

calm down LE. One good intraclub match where the players aren't all putting 100% in doesn't make a player.

You'd never ever start with him imo. Trade him in after 1-2 rounds if he kills it. He really hasn't shown anything. He's not underpriced because of injury, he's not a premium, he's not a first year rookie.

There's no real reason to pick him up.

I dunno, 53, 55, 75... ? Points to a breakout.

3 tons last year and 4 scores of 90+

Two sub affected games drag down his average.

High draft pick and finally pushing himself into the improving Kanga's midfield!

There's a lot of upside in this kid. Don't rule out getting on him.

Windigo

Been a bit longer getting going than other high draft picks that year, kinda.

Martin stands out. Trengove & Scully are debatable.  :P

That's the thing, no real reason to start him, kills it first 2 rounds... downgrade to him. That's the bonus of 44 trades, downgrade to him, and upgrade a rook/midpricer.

His 2 sub games were subbed out in the 4th and in the 3rd, so they sorta do count. He was subbed out 'cause he was playing shower.

Even with the sub games he is showing signs of improvement, just lacks consistency.

But yeah, either way. You coiuld start with him and if he didn't fire then offload him. Beaty of 44 trades ;)

Looking at the fixture list though your method is probs better.

Holz

guranteed to improve, as a roo fan though dont pick any of our midfielders.

We dont have a go to guy who racks it up, it changes each week. Im sure he will have some big games but there will be games where he is quiet when a swallow or JZ steps it up big time. All Roo mids will be inconsistent, the only expection is liam athony he is a ball magnet and im tipping he will be the highest scoring roo this year.

Still dont pick him.

Currie Curran and Goldy should be the only guys to conisder.

Mr.Craig

Played a couple of games in the VFL last year for a lazy 164 and 109.

"Lingus!"

He is the player that benefited most from JZ getting suspended for contesting the ball. Lingus was slotted directly into his spot and had far more impact than JZ as well. The issue is that JZ is Vice Captain, so unless his role changes it is very difficult to predict where Lingus will fit in. IMO, they'll make some space in the mids for Lingus by giving the injury-prone JZ more time up forward. North offloaded several medium forwards last year, so there is a fair bit of space their now.

The only issue with Lingus is that he is quite a gifted handballer, so he'll always have a bad K:H.

If I see a 100+ in the NAB, I'll be jumping on.
