title says it all tossing up for a spot in my forward line as the DPP link

Jroo

Roughy, he's more reliable than Ryder.

Colliwobblers

both goal kicking ruckmen, if ryder can stay on the park he has the higher ceiling less competition in his fwd line and more athletic.

can't go wrong i reckon both are in for strong seasons.

just bruest gunston coming through, hale stepped it up last season and then there is buddy puts me off roughy

colmullet

Even with all those stepping up last year, and coming off the Achillies Roughy popped out 100+ average.....now with a full pre-season you would think things would only improve from there, he's not spectacular but puts the points on the board every week, was my best pick last year

MTTY

I'm inclined to say Ryder but only if Bailey starts for the Hawks. The way i see it is that if Roughead isn't rucking (or barely rucking) he will have too much competition for scoring in the forwardline, whereas, although Ryder scores a lot better as a ruck, he won't have as much competition especially if Hurley plays down back.

Yeh Roughy for me. Also have him starting at the moment. Like Colmullet said had an interrupted preseason last year and still scored really well. Could be in for a big year.

The Mongoose

I don't know about anyone else, but for me a lot of these decisions are being made for me, due to my team composition.

In the interests of keeping a balanced team, I'm refusing to have more than three players from any one club.

At the moment I have Roughead in, but I'd rather have Ryder - which would be breaking my rule.

Sabretooth Tigers

Ryder, but not by much. Roughy has more competition around the forward line, Hawks have a very hard first 7 matches. An afterthought definitely Ryder. Cheers.

Ryder always seems to find himself in massive form slumps. With all thats gone on at Essendon over the past few weeks I cant see them starting the season too well so I would go for Roughy

Vincent

You cannot go wrong with either. I'd choose Ryder but I'm not saying he'll be any better than Roughead. Draw.
