It's an issue if it's enough for him to drop 5-10 points per game. Which it is.

Lol why will he drop 5-10 points a game?

Less time on ground/time in the ruck = less opportunity to score. Pretty simple really.

He wont play any less time in the ruck though? Vickery will provide relief when he needs a rest ( As Griffiths, Mcguanne and Miller did last season) and Orren was drafted as an emergency backup if Maric gets injured because Graham was traded and Brown was delisted. Dont see why he would drop to a 10 ppg less avg unless you are predicting a drop in form because it certainly wont be due to less time in the ruck

Vickery is far more capable than those guys when it comes to being a 2nd ruck, so Richmond will use Tyrone more than those other spuds. Richmond think they are making finals this year so they won't want to run Maric into the ground like they almost did last year.

simple, hes yesterdays man,he & giles were rocks for me & maybe all,but theres no place for sentiment in footy, havent even looked at either of them, you have to move on,i see maric near top of the ruck price list but havent even seen the name giles yet.Cox ryder roughy & nicnat all dpp, sandi if injury free perhaps #1 in comp again, goldy for all the reasons stated above & leuey for his cheap price are the guys im looking at along with rookies, added to maric & giles we have jacobs kreuzer jolly bellchambers mcintosh smith hale jamar lobbe mcevoy & mummy who will all hold some appeal, some of them equal to the mullet.Nope thanks for 2012 Ivan you were an absolute cornerstone but your time has passed, take care.

Very easy to sumup cant see what the op sees otherwise

Griffiths isnt a spud but agree the other 2 are.
Vickery isnt to flash in the ruck.. Believe me. He always jumps to early and concentrates on the man too much.
Obviously its not ideal to have any ruckman doing it all by themselves but when he is in the middle we get first use of the ball more often than not so they are going to want him in their as much as possible.
I think he is a certainty to avg 110+ If he drops at all it will be marginal. No way will he drop 10ppg if he remains fit

The Goldy + Burger combo cost many previous lock "ruckmen" their JS this season
