What are your thoughts on 5 premiums hannebery and ball and 3 rookies is the midfield???? IS IT TOP HEAVY

Go for it. It's better than relying on rookies who might score 50.

I'd think so when you look at how many good midfield rookie options there are.

Mid rookies usually score the bset and therefore make the most money. U need at least 4 I reckon. More choice of rookies available in mids too. Got to get the good cash cows where u can. BTW I'm going 5 prems 5 rookies.

Top heavy but could score a lot more points ;)
Really depends how the rest of your team looks

You'll score a lot more points than the rest of us early, that's for sure. But traditionally speaking, premiums don't tend to go up in value much, if at all. You want the rookies and mid price cows to fatten up in price before you upgrade them to a premium, especially one with a good run home.

Call me crazy, but this year's crop of midfield rookies is too good to ignore and I'll be going with either a 3 or 4 premium midfield!!

+1 - Pretty fair explanation

Rowy

You could load up in the mids and then select Mid/Fwd and Mid/Def rookies, and with players like Staker and Macaffer you should be able to generate decent cash for upgrades.

Spot on.

It's a bit of a catch 22 since midfield premiums will easily score the most out of any position, but all of the best rookies are in the midfield too. So you can start with 5 or more premiums, but you miss out on all the good rookies.

I will most likely start with 3-4 premiums and allow those mid rookies to fatten up nicely
