Overall, but still league

Usually I play purely for league but this year since I'm in the FF Bronze league I'm tempering my usual slow start to go a bit harder early so my overall doesn't suffer. Lemme know what you think:

Backs Goddard, Gibbs, Reilly, Osbourne, Goodes, Staker (Pittard, Terlich)

Mids Pendles, Watson, Cotchin, Murphy, Fyfe, Wines, K. Mitchell, B. Crouch (O'Maera, Viney)

Rucks Leuy, Goldstein (Rowe, D. Currie)

Forwards Franklin, Nicnat, Daisy, Martin, Broughton, Mayes (T. Menzel, Macaffer)

Obviously rooks are pending NAB cup. Broughton is in the forward line for DPP with Staker. Fyfe is a steal at 498k. Nicnat is placeholding till I hear more about his injury, I want him from round 1 even if he's a round or 2 away still.

why not get Cox instead?

They're both there as placeholders really till I hear more about their injuries over the NAB cup, can easily sideways NicNat to Cox and Daisy to Rockliff if they don't get up, but they're two guys I want in my team if at all possible from the start.

DEFS: My worry hear is that with Broughton included you will have 4 prems from the same bye round. Swapping Reilly for Birchall could be the answer.

MIDS: Nice selections but no GAJ will put you on the back foot from the beginning.

RUCKS: Standard. No issues here.

FWDS: I would definitely do the changes that you mentioned. Naitanui/Daisy to Cox/Rockliff. I also think that Buddy isn't essential to start with due to the Hawks tough draw at the start of the season.

Def: Reilly is a unique but you are probably better off moving broughton to Defence as you will have too many players with the same bye week
Mids: 5premiums gives a strong Midfield Just need to hope you have selected the right rookies.
Rucks: Solid.
Fwds: I would Replace Nic Nat with Cox and as daisy is likely to miss a few weeks i would look at Rockliff
