End of the day, I just don't trust forward rookies this year, so they're out.
I do think though that those 4 starting rookie mids should play and score well, so they should start.
Please feel free to review!

hmm not a bad team

def good

mids pretty weak with only 4 premos

rucks standard

forwards i think your spending to much cash on Buddy, Cox and Ryder i'd ditch 2 of them for cheaper guys Cox the one to keep

have you considered doing this?

Goddard, Gibbs, Grimes +rooks

Ablett, Dangerfield, Cotchin, Jack, Fyfe+rooks

Goldstein, Leuenburger

Cox, Rockliff, Lewis, Wright, Martin+Rooks

that looks heaps better imo lots of defender rookies to choose from

love the watts inclusion. i origionally had him in my plans early but had to choose him or heppell and picked heppell. i dont think your too weak in the mids coz your fwds are so strong. youve kinda gone for the opposite tactic to me which is ultra strong mids ( http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,71036.0.html )

i dont think tom mitchell is a good rookie mid pick. (if that the mitchell you've chosen) sydney are really strong through the mids. theres a lonegan at GCS and another mitchel at port you could look at. and also a mature aged mid at melbourne whos name escapes me atm

I too like the watts pick, but if you're not going 4 premium backs you really neeed to be strong in the midfield i think, you've spent too much money there, i'd downgrade franklin/ryder to say johnson and varcoe and then go get another mid

Oh, the Mitchell is the Port one (I forgot about the Sydney one)  :P The Melbourne rookie is Jones, and he might come in for one of the two bench mids.
Call me old fashioned, but the reason I've gone Ryder and Buddy is because I'm still in to trade conservation as a tactic (even though we have more trades). Both Buddy and Ryder I think will be in the top 6 forwards, and I don't think that any of the other cheaper forwards at this time will be in that top 6 mix (Nic Nat is the other one to come in).
I flirted with running a 3 prem back line, and still might do it if the rookie strength proves to be there, but until then I think that the best rookies are in the mids, so they're the ones that play.
