Goldstein could be swapped for Kreuzer or Stefan Martin...

That's definitely a structure you don't see very often!

Because its sooo different, I'll play devil's advocate.

DEF: Considering the rookie options on this line, you have one too many midpricers. Don't forget that the new trade system means you can always switch to the 'right' midpricer prior to their first price change.

MIDS: Not enough premiums to generate points. Three midpricers here (Greene is unlikely to become a keeper) should be turned into two more premiums (ditching either Whifield / Wines / Toumpas to get the extra cash).

RUC: Although listed as a RUC, Daw is competing against players in the Nth Melb FWD line for games -- trade. Goldy is a brave choice but Currie should be solid.

FWD: Similar to the mid line, not enough prems to generate scores. Crozier is a lot of coin to sit on the pine.

Very nice and unique
Toby Greene gun pick
Blair also a great unique imo, wish I snatched him in my elite draft :/ screw you tabs
Golby has impressed me so far this pre-season, also good choice

Dislikes
Dan Nicholson- bloke is a spud
Goldstein is an even bigger spud :P
No Rockliff? Mad.

Would prefer Patton to Crozier
Kane Mitchell a must-have imo, could go 85+ and a B&F if he goes his best. Drop Toumpas to him, then upgrade Goldstein to McEvoy/Mumford
Playing Colq over Vlastuin?

Overall: 8.25/10 neat side, could use a few adjustments tho.

mezzoculo: Toby Greene is a personal favourite. You cut me deep there mezzo...

Jukes: Word out of MFC is very positive about Nicholson during pre-season and his PPM hasn't been too bad either. That being said, I have dropped him for Hibberd.

I may play Colq over Vlatuin - yes. His PPM has been solid. I had Patton, but I'm worried the ball won't reach him. He's a freak, but he's a gorilla-freak and they require high F50 entries in order to prosper.

Kane Mitchell is next on my list for mids. I think Melbourne will park Toumpas forward if he tires, which means he'll get more games. Kane's disposal isn't good enough to let him rest forward, so I think he'll be a scapegoat when Port lose their first few.

Really like the selection of Crozier mate - reckon he will be a very solid pick up for you if he can cement himself in Freo's best 22 and avoid the vests.

Hibberd and Golby are interesting picks, but good picks. Really tempted by Hibberd but the only way I'd be able to get him in would be to downgrade from Heppell, and I'd have no use of the spare cash. Think he will go mid-to-high 80's this year 8)

Reckon you'd get more value in your mids by downgrading Toumpas -> Viney/Lonergan/Mitchell and using the cash generated to upgrade Brad Ebert to a fully-fledged premium (Deledio springs to mind ;)) Would have your mids looking a lot stronger.

Not a fan of the Berger? Fair enough if he doesn't get up for the game this weekend, I'll be searching for other options. BUT if he does get up and plays alright I reckon you'd have to get him in over Goldy, just presents so much value.

No Rocky?! :o :o Almost the biggest lock of 2013 for me! I also have Zorko & Martin, solid picks. Blair could well explode but he might not be a keeper in the end so if you can find cash elsewhere id try to upgrade him. Varcoe hasn't impressed me at all in NAB, would surely go Karnezis or even Petterd over him. As I said I like the pick of Crozier! 8)

A very different side to many I've seen. All selections are speculative, but there obviously been chosen with some good research.

I'd still have somebody other than Goldy...

Your FWD line is very dicey from Varcoe across... :-\
