Just checked my random team as i haven't had much time to do so in the past month or so and my team needs a lot of work on it.

Goddard, Broughtan, Houli, Golby, McKenzie, Bower, Hardingham (Pears, Allen)
Pendles, Foley, Cotchin, Hartlett, Magner Rischitelli (Miles, Martyn)
Sandilands, Kruezer (Phillips, McNamara)
Chapman, Milne, Fasolo, Reid, Cripps, Lynch, Kennedy (Horlin-Smith, Gilbee)

With 20 trades left and 31,600 in the kitty next week a 3 way trade could be on the cards.

Bower - Yarran
Hardingham/Pears/McKenzie - Sam Shaw
Magner - Priddis

Forward line needs the most worked on but with still plenty of trades left hopefully i can finish my team quite soon.

That's funny taken me 16 trades to get a team still not as good as yours with 20 trades left, meh ive given up on this my team was just too shower to start with, took 14 trades to get a full team on the field, i'll use the few i have left over the next 2 rounds and that will be it for the rest of the season.

*EDIT - actually got 9 left so maybe 2 more midfielders a fwd and a back and will have a solid side, certainly never going to be "all premium" but might provided a "little" competition over the next 9 rounds, should get thrashed in the finals tho, i just can't get it upgraded, people like adams, nahas, blair, petrie, mcveigh, jack, murphy, porps and duff all have to stay, and that's a lot of mediocre players for my finished side.

Mids: Pendles, Ablett, Dal Santo, J Selwood,  Magner, Treloar,( McDonald, Kerridge)
Rucks: Cox, Maric (Craig, Pattinson)
Forwards: Franklin, Dangerfield, Sidebottom, S Johnson, Beams, Adams, Zorko (Rowe, Couch)

Will probably do one more mid upgrade and then leave team as well. Like Colli a lot of mid priced players to keep during finals.

I guess the hardest part for my to try and finalise my team would be finding suitable downgrading options as most of them would of played still players like Couch, O'Hanlon, Redpath, Mitchell amongst others to still get some games.

@Colli: Adams, Petrie, Duff and Jack could all be great PODs com closer to the season all 4 of them can notch up some good scores with the exception of Adams there highs are around the 140-150 mark. Murphy (Robert?) Can get back to his 90-95 average now that the bulldogs have a fairly easy run home.

@Ringo: You have a good team hopefully in the next couple of weeks Couch, Docherty and Kerridge can all get a run and make some money for you. Hard to trade out Rowe for another rookie as won't make any cash but won't be seen at all this year. (Hopefully a speedy recover) Dempsey, Golby and Adams are some of the best mid pricers and can get some nice scores.

my starting team random renegades was one of the better teams to begin with and it has kind of taken the fun out of it to be honest! i think that if we were to do this again next year Ben maybe you could randomly select a team and we could all copy it and start with a level playing field! this would make it more skillful and exiting! what do you think?

wow scored 2347 with a donut in defence but had eski (not as emg) so would have scored 2447 :P
