Backs. Goddard, Gibbs, Hanley, Broughton, Staker, Pittard.  ( Terlich, Van Unen )
Mids, Ablett, Swan, Murphy, Fyfe, Mundy, K Mitchell, Crouch, O'meara.  ( Viney, Dywer )
Rucks, Sandilands, Leuenberger.  ( Currie, Mcbean )
Fowards, Cox, Rockliff, S Johnson, Sylvia, J J Kennedy, Byrnes.  ( Macaffer, Lee )

Thoughts appreciated guys.

Can go Fyfe to Cotchin and Sandilands to Mumford if needed.
Dywer is sitting on the mid bench for the captain loophole.
Not completly sold on Sylvia but worth a punt.
Thinking J J kennedy will start ok if Nic Nat doesn't play early
Happy with Byrnes at F6, leadership role at Melbourne, should have good JS.

cdonny

hard to fault really, though Dwyer is a waste, still better to pick a rookie that will increase in cash than to exploit the loophole.

Jroo

Dosen't look too bad creeker.
I reckon it's fine, Sandilands and JJ Kennedy are the biggest risks and aren't that bad if they can stay fit.
I like Sylvia and I'm considering him in my team, I wrote an article on him a while ago maybe you'd like to check it out: http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,70331.0.html

I like it mate, certainly not too risky.  I certainly wouldn't rate Mummy as a safer bet than Sandy, they're both liable to "fresh air" you at one point or another!
While I agree that Byrnes has job security, I don't know if that will translate into enough points to merit having him as opposed to a rookie who may earn you a lot more money for the same level of scoring.  Ie, unless you already consider him to be a keeper?
Anyhow, as stated, I like it. 8/10.

Your risky options are: Hanley, broughton, fyfe/mundy (i would only have one not both), sylvia and jj kennedy.

I cant see sandilands playing out a whole year, so another risk there.

With the 30 trades I dont think it is much of a problem having more risk in a team.  However, if you wanted to lower your risk I would downgrade kennedy to a rookie and upgrade sylvia to a true premium.  If you have money left over I would upgrade fyfe/mundy to a super-premium mid.  This will lower your trade requirements (I cant see mundy, fyfe, sylvia being top 8/6 material).

I think it is a pretty good team, but it will be hard seeing all those midprice players firing, thus making you have to use trades to upgrade them.

Anyway, just my thoughts.

I give 8/10 for a very different approach which could be very good.

PICCOLLO

Prefer varcoe to byrnes.
Colin sylvia has a lot of upside and is training well.
Miss picking up Buddy at your peril.
Murphy late back to training after post season ops, underdone?
Sandi is better than being a mummys boy
The rest is solid
