Trade ideas?

Playing Crawf this week, outscoring him quite comfortably recently, but you never know what can happen. If I lose, there is a chance I could get knocked out of the 8, depending on percentage. Here's my team:

Def- Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Duffman, Shaw, Wilson (Clisby, Hanley)
Mid- Ablett, Pendles, JPK, Jelwood, Lids, Mundy, Priddis, TMitch (Hrovat, Kmart)
Ruck- Goldy, Maric (Nicholls, Grimley)
Fwd- Walker, Rocky, Cox, Zorko, SJ, Staker (NicNat, Bennedy)

4 trades, $17,900.

NicNat has to go, thinking of bringing in Dusty or Bartel, but honestly could be a number of forwards at this stage. Money has to come from somewhere though, and I was wondering if it's worth downgrading Nicholls to McBean? Then I basically have the option of playing Maric or Staker/Zorko each week, and it leaves me with cash to spare for my last mid upgrade.

Thoughts? Or any other ideas? All I can say is, bring on 2014  :P

Can you go Hanley to Mackie and Nic Nat to Rockcliff?

Ringo

Look at the other thread for a forward under $380k and see if any there are reasonable as a straight swap for nat and will get you some extra cash up to $70k and only use one trade keeping 3 for finals as you will need a mid upgrade.

Some interesting nbames in here that could be worth a go.

Already have Rockliff, and not keen on wasting a trade on Hanley with only 4 left.

And Ringo, out of those, I think I would go with Breust. Is a cheaper option worth it though? Would definitely be a great POD, especially if he gets a few good scores, but not sure. Especially when my team consists of players like Duffield, Lids, Maric, Zorko, etc. Will definitely consider it though.

Cheers guys.

Was just talking to a friend, and we got to this:
This week:
NicNat-->Wellingham
Nicholls-->McBean

Next week:
Hrovat-->Griffen/Barlow/Jack
Clisby-->Grimes/Ibbotson/Dixon
Basically whatever I can afford

Thoughts on this?

Ringo

Sound Go Lions except I would look at the match ups each week before deciding when too pull the trigger on the last 2 trades in case GS or injury raises its head,

If deciding to wait you can wait on Nicholls as well till ready to do the downgrade upgrade,  Your decision though.

NicNat to Rioli?

If you are struggling to make the 8 then winning the league almost certainly will require you take a risk or two.

Rioli looked hungry and pretty quick again.

Could make a difference if you are willing to take a risk on his hamstrings.

Yeah, it really depends on where I finish. At this point, I would back myself to beat the bottom 3 teams in our top 8 (5th, 6th, 8th. I am 7th), been averaging about 200 more than them in the last month or so. But if my mate gets an upset win this week, I could end up against someone a lot better, in which case I would have to upgrade.

How did I miss Rioli? Thanks Doc, another one to consider! Cheers!

Is 'ding ding ding' the sound of a hamstring popping?

Very sound trade. If I had room in my forward line for him I'd be all over him like a fat kid on a cupcake
