I traded Finch to Lumb at the last minute, seriously considered Rohrer but thought Lumb might make me some cash
Well not doing this could backfire, 57 of 37 from Rohrer, Lumb has two catches and still to bat

PowerBug

Maybe Mike Hussey will come outta retirement and play as a keeper? ;D

Poor old Keath. Awful captaincy to bowl a 115 kmph bowler with no experience anyway. Perfect pickings for the batsmen.

What a game. Should be a good final. Shaun Marsh should play ODI's for Aus. His scores in the Big Bash: 57 off 45, 26 off 32, 19 off 11, 85 off 52, 6 off 11, 56 off 45, 79 off 60 and 68 off 40. Averaging 49.5. Last 3 games he averages 67.6 at a strike rate of 140. So 396 runs at a strike rate of 133.7.

T20 is not One Day. At the moment we need a bit of stability at the top of the order, not a real hit and miss sale. That being said, he should get into the T20I team.

Shaun Marsh is definitely a part of the Australian XI five years from now (in all 3 forms) so he needs to be playing now.  I have said what needs to be said.

I know statistics aren't everything, but Marsh really doesn't have a very good record at domestic level at all.

After 138 First Class innings he only has 7 hundreds at an average of 35.61.  That should not get anyone into the team unless they are in stellar form that season, which Marsh certainly is not and he hasn't had a good shield summer for 2 years now. I don't think he has the ability to go on and make the big scores that are required in test matches.

that speech from the KFC chick was the worst post-match presentation speech I have ever heard....

Quote"Under the heading 'Over Rates', the memo stated that, 'If a team's official captain is selected but not named as captain, this will be considered against the Spirit of Cricket and may attract a Code of Behaviour charge'."

Warne's Stars teammate James Faulkner was listed on the Melbourne Stars team sheet as captain for the clash against the Scorchers and took part in the coin toss with Perth Scorchers captain Simon Katich.

Following that match CA said Warne was alleged to have breached Rule 5: Laws of Cricket and Spirit of the Game.
