im tossing up between my M5 position. should i go someone like murphy or someone like moloney and free up cash to use somewhere else?

depends on your other lines, I am starting Moloney and Ball with 4 ELITE mids, if I wasn't starting both mid priced mids I would start 5 ELITE and one mid priced mid.

So I guess my answer to your question would be pick at ELITE for M5. Points cannot be made up over the season very easily.

But with 44 trades money can be made up...  so long as rooks continue to debut at different times of the season which is almost certain.

yeah thanks colli i was gonna go 5 elites but then i only have 3 prems in the backline and looks abit weak but got 4 prems in the forward line. i also want moloney in there to as i see him going big this year

4 and moloney would be ok, plenty will be doing similar, it just depends where you see the most points coming from me i like a deeper midfield but plenty of others think by doing that and having only 3 premium defenders i am silly.

so each to his own hey :)

good luck for the season anyway, at least we can trade our way out of any wrong decisions pretty easily this season

My strategy in making these types of decsions is always to lean towards the ballgetters. A midfield prem will always be more valuable than a back prem. I'm always heavy in the mids to start the season and  it's stood me in good stead over the years.

As Colli said "points cannot be made up over the season very easily", better to have the 'bird in hand' so to speak.

I'm going 5 or 6 prem mids to start and will use the rookie backs to get trade value. Hopefully work again this year.

Good luck

5-6 prems is interesting. i definately wouldnt have the balls to do it but if its worked for you in the past then keep going with it. anyway i hope it all works out for you.

good luck to you to  :)

I am thinking of stacking all lines but only going 4 prems in the middle.
Points should be similar and cash should be better with lots of mid rooks!!
