Last year I started planning for my supercoach team about the end of December, and I was able to finish the year ranked 41st overall. This year I am starting a bit earlier, as the trade period being three weeks and the draft not to far away. I will post my first draft team, and invite others to do the same and I will give advice if you would like some.

Brendon Goddard, Bryce Gibbs, Pearce Hanley, Jack Grimes, Grant Birchall, Nathan Bock, Cameron Pedersen
Sam Docherty, Brody Mihocek

Gary Ablett jnr, Scott Pendlebury, Nathan Fyfe, Allen Christensen, Luke Ball, Elliott Kavanagh
Brad Crouch, Jaeger O'Meara

Shane Mumford, Matthew Leuenberger
Jarrod Witts, Brodie Grundy

Lance Franklin, Harley Bennell, Dustin Martin, David Zaharakis, Robbie Gray, Mark LeCras, Daniel Menzel
Mitch Morton, Brent Macaffer

don't know how much cash you have left but i'd be leaving about a million left over as i think the prices/salary cap are not accurate wont really be doing many fanplanner teams until they are accurate i think and i have the players i want in my head anyway

Yea i know what you mean, this is just basically player that I want to keep an eye on, especially the grays, lecras, menzel etc. Interested to see how they go. There will be many, many changes.

Mid price haven but that will be the case in most teams next season I think!
Fyfe as a mid? Interesting one. Probably wont be able to grab him as a fwd unfortunately but wouldn't think he has pure mid potential just yet, not sold on Christensen either, the rest is very similar to what im thinking!

fyfe has since been replace by mundy, who is the biggest value pick this year. I like bundy with his dpp, i struggled with not much dpp last year.

i found waiting until after the NAB cup to pick my side worked best, i wasnt tossing up between players and wasting time putting players in and out. i could spend my time researching the draft, mature age rookies etc.  more which worked well.. i ended up 76th overall.....as far as strategy i tried to have only two premiums on each line to start  and looked for ready made rookies. more consistant players won out for me as well, high risk high reward (good in theory) can potentially sink your team whereas the consistant performers gave you peace of mind if your after an overall high position

41st hey,, thats one of your teams.. why dont you mention how many teams you had?
Spouting your rank when you cheat with mulitable teams is pretty weak.
You were Sammy's Sloggers in Bronze league last year and that team didnt get into the top 200.
A complete moron can get a high ranking if they have enough teams, and since u got 41st I rest my case..

So advice for improving your rank would be create more accounts and cheat..
