have seen recently a few comments on Gold Coast having a good draw and especially early, but have a look at this

For the record, Ablett had only two score's in Super Coach under 110, an 87 and 64, 12 times above 130 and four from 120-130

Sure Gaz usually starts very very well, but don't be fooled by the easier draw!

bit like judd as well i reckon there. well probs judd more so in his prime. lifts when he has to - long season!

yea but im still not even considering not starting him!

mind you with the new rules (which are potentially going to ruin this game, 30 trades!!?? ) with rolling lockout for each game means you can punt on your VC pretty much every week. so is gaz needed as a perma captain now???

Not a bad bit of research there tbag!

IIRC though, the first Q clash in 2011 Gaz was under an injury cloud/had an injury during the game slowing him down hense the low score of 75.
And in there loss against GWS last year it was his first game back from injury and many believed they'd rushed him back to have a shot at winning... and he still scored 125  :P

Still think you'd be mad not to start with him!
