Ive decided to have a punt with jack watts because he had a bad last year and still averaged around 90 points I thought the only way is up for him and he could average around 100 this year.

Im only going to keep one of embley and ball what are your thoughts guys?

Solid team reuben

Def: One of the few teams I have seen with Heath shaw as a prem,.

Mids: Concern with Fyfe at M3 and the absence of at least one of Ablett, Pendles or Swan as a super prem. Without one of these think you may be behind the eightball from the start,  I would look at ditching embley but just personal as I think he may be past his prime.

Rucks: Pretty Standard

Forwrads: Strong line here perhaps too strong allowing mids to suffer - Maybe downgrade one to allow mid upgrade to a super prem.  Watch form of Daisy in NAB cup if he plays if not replace.

As I said solid effort first up Rating 7/10 but with a bit of tweaking can achieve higher,

Def: Strong line.  Not sure about Watts but could be.a good unique.  Possibly overspent a bit at the Expense of your mids.  Maybe downgrade Watts or Broughton.

Mids: Weak.  For starters You don't really have an obvious set and forget captain, and I think you need at least one.  Also think you have too many starting cash cows/rookies.  Remember this is the hardest line to upgrade to the top guys because they usually don't drop that far.

Rucks: Standard line, though I'm not sure you'll get much more out of Roughhead than you would out of a Goldstein or a Mumford who are about $70k cheaper.  Also watch the preseason for the Magpie rookie rucks.  I suspect that developmentally Grundy may be slightly ahead of Witts given he's been playing seniors in SANFL,

Forwards: think you've spent to much here and it's hurt your mids.  I'd downgrade one of Martin or Robinson to a midpricer such as Le Cras or Varcoe, and also Stringer to a cheaper rookie and put the cash into your mids.

Overall I think your balance is out so I'd give it a 7/10
