when i had mine i was back training in 4 weeks and played after 6
mine was burst tho. in hospital 4 a week
his would be pretty simple.
1 to 2 weeks

its hardly injured!! give it a week for the stitches to heal and he should be alright!!

I was in the Army when mine exploded. It was the weekend and I was at a U2 concert in Brizzy the zooropa tour. They were that damn good they blew my appendix up  ;D I am serious its true. From memory I was back on track pretty fast I didnt even have stitches they glued me up the Army surgeon. I was back into full on stuff within a month no probs.
