Essendon have announced their new jumper numbers for season 2013. Highly touted youngster Joe Daniher will wear the number 6, also worn by his father Anthony and uncle, Neale. Prized recruit Brendon Goddard will wear the number 9.

Jumper numbers changes:

I thought that Goddard and Hibberd would be swapped around, perhaps 9 being half of 18 had something to do with it?

Good on Howlett for keeping his number as well...Don't like it when established players change numbers without changing clubs.
