FREMANTLE recruit Tanner Smith has made his name as a tall defender, but the North Ballarat teenager could be the young key forward his new club is searching for.

I say train him as a forward.  We have Faulks/SCOS developing as Key Backs.

Cicjose

100% agree with you

i still think that we still need 1 or 2 more key forwards on the list considering Pavlich wont be around for too much longer

I think RTB really thinks that Clarke will turn in to a KPF/Ruckman

Cicjose

not convinced tbh i know ruckmen and key forwards take ages to come good

but training a ruckman to become both is going to be extremely difficult especially when i haven't been impressed by Clarke as a forward but his ruck work has been serviceable

valkorum

The perfect situation for when Sandi retires would be for Clarke to be KPF/Ruck, Griff to be Ruck/rest forward with Moller developing

i think Clarke will start to surprise a few ppl in the next 1-2 years
