I am flabergasted, I really didn't see this coming. Poor fella has been suffering a bad knee ever since he was drafted, and I suppose he could continue no longer.

Think this is a big blow to the Dees, though he wasn't the most skillful one of the bunch, he always gave his heart and this was recognised when he made the leadership group in 2012.

I really rated him :(

Always sad when a player has to retire prematurely due to injury. Bartram wasn't bad either, so it sucks that his career had to end like that.
