Maybe due to the early intense  rivalry between Port and Lions and the GF's we played.  Early games decided by a handful of points and a draw as well.

Sad i never made it to the big Dance, but was at the Geelong semi, and the Saint's prelim at  Footy Park. I'll never forget in the win over the  Saints , i was with my lad and my neice (12 and 15 at the time ) and the siren went, when i swear a bigfoot (luckily a Power supporter, with a huge beard )gave me a bear hug, and i felt like he just shook me in  such happiness, i've now got a phobia, about lack of oxygen in certain situations haha
