Both Petterd and Knights are similar in the sense that they are medium sized forwards, but really, i think they are very different in how they play their games. Petterd is similar to Aaron Edwards in that he is a small/medium fwd that can be a marking target up forwards (take a look at his highlights package!), and should therefore be played out of a forward pocket, while Knightsy is more of a running, penetrating player with his elite kicking skills, and is more likely to be played off of a flank or the wing.

That being said, there is a chance that they will be competing for the same spot (providing Petterd is upgraded from the rookie list at season's start).
