TYSON Goldsack this morning signed a new deal with Collingwood.

The athletic swingman put pen to paper on a two-year contract that keeps him in black and white until the end of 2014.

It was initially thought the versatile 25-year-old may be squeezed out due to the Magpies' salary cap pressures, but he made it known at the Copeland Trophy dinner he wanted to stay and signed a deal this morning.

Goldsack, a member of Collingwood's 2010 premiership team, had his most consistent season this year, kicking 24 goals and missing only three games.

Collingwood also has offers on the table for flag-winning duo Ben Johnson and Brent Macaffer, as well as Andrew Krakouer.
