Personally I dont think he's a good get at all. I was baffled at Brisbane's decision to get him. Thought Voss would have learnt his lesson by now on grabbing washed up recycled players.
Good luck to him at his new home though, hopefully he can turn his career around and repay Brisbane for giving him the chance.
As far as DT is concerned I wont be going near him

You're right, dream team he isn't worth it. Too many players to pick from that are must haves and rookies. but i disagree with you on the point of brisbane shouldn't of signed him. he's still a very good player and is perfect timing to have him with simon black on his last year.

+1 not considering for DT but he should still be a good player. He had just one bad year after winning the b&f the year before.

I dunno im not convinced guys. He isnt exactly young, he'll be 29 by the start of the season. Had a reasonable season in 2011 and won the B&F but there was not much competition at the Dees that year and this year couldnt get a game at Melbourne who had no midfielders of any standard. Thats a worry. Think they would be better off giving Rocky the mid time he deserves rather than recycling yet another footballer pushing 30

From memory I think he might have copped a bit of a tag when he did play this year which might have hurt him somewhat. But I dunno it honestly just felt like the coach wasn't really trying to do anything to help him. At 29 if he's still determined I reckon he would still have the skill set to be a useful asset for another 3 years at least

Generally I think it's a good pick up.  Gives them a bit of extra grunt through the mids.  Wonder though whether Vossy had hesitations in picking up another off cast from a rival club.  Such a bad run with them, and while Id expect Moloney to have a positive impact up there, it could be another tick against Voss if it doesnt work out.

Yeah, we had 1-2 go astray... but I think everyone is making it out worse than it is...

Matt Maguire is one of our best backmen and Staker when fit is one of our better players easy. In the top 13 imo.

So it wasn't all bad like everyone here seems to make out  :-\

What in 2017 maybe. Won't even win 10 games for the season next year. I agree it seems he will prevent Rocky from having much midfield time as Moloney is purely a mid and wouldn't spend any time in the forward line you'd think.

he meant 10 premierships mate.

which is an over estimate... 5-6 with this list, most probable ;)

there'll be substantial improvement this year, gws should finish bottom 4. 2014, we'll be in the top part of the bottom 10, and 2015 onwards... :P

providing we can keep a majority of our list :P

Is he going to keep Rocky out of the mids ? :(
Yeah, probably  :(

Rockliff showed nothing up front when he was there this year. dunno why voss continues with that

I wouldn't say nothing... when the ball got up there he was relatively damaging...

Agree. He was shower up forward this year. I think he had that one good game early against Melbourne where he kicked 4-4 or something. Surely Voss won't play him up there anywhere as much as last year?

But onto Moloney... No way for that price.. Won't average anywhere near 100 and with the midfield depth this year with the rookies and midpricers surely you couldn't pick him.
