Thoughts

Ben's 2012 season was fairly consistent he had some decent games seems to be developing into a real hard nut ball winner like his Skipper, at age 24 he should be coming into the prime of his career (hopefully) as this bloke has plenty of potential to become a SC gun. Another pre season will only benefit him learning from Watson and Hird and the rest of the coaches at Essendon on becoming an elite ball winner.

Verdict

He is seriously one to watch out for in 2013 can only get better, will be underpriced due to his injury in round 19 i was a bit shocked to see his fanplanner price as his low 351k was what he finished on but could be a real smokey for someone wanting to take a risk.

As a Dons supporter I love the kid and will consider him as a smokey in 2013. Averages 6.26 tackles a game, if he can up his average disposals a bit I dare say he'd be fantasy relevant.

Standard deviation of 24.5633 is around the mark, would be lower had he not had such a poor finish to the season.

I can't help thinking this guys should be more advanced than he is.  He certainly has the talent to be a top-grader.  It probably has to do with Essendon's structures and the roles he has had to play.  I think he could be much better than he has shown but not prepared to take a punt just yet.
