A very close count all round

1st Scott Selwood - 403
2nd Dean Cox - 400
3rd Shannon Hurn - 396
4th Jack Darling - 393

9th Daniel Kerr - 364
10th Eric Mackenzie - 360

Other club awards

Defender Mitch Brown, who played seven games, won the prestigious Chris Mainwaring Award as the best clubman, while key defender Eric Mackenzie was judged player of the finals.

Emerging half-back Jacob Brennan was named rookie of the year, while defender Beau Waters shared the Eagles in the Community Award with Eagles Rock My School coordinator Kim Hanna.   

Life memberships were presented to former director John Adams, long-serving recruiter Trevor Woodhouse and former match committee member and current player welfare officer Ian Miller

Darling as a 19yo was 4th in the B&F. Heppell 2nd in his B&F count. So many young guns coming close to winning their B&Fs.  :o

it was quite close, so waters missing 3 games could do it I suppose...

yeah, same thing happened with giles- 2nd for the giants in the brownlow, 5th for B&F lol.

just shows the difference between what the club values and what the outside world values

Totally disagree look at how close the vote count is from 1st to 10th most of those guys played every game this season Waters missed 4 games (correct me if I`m wrong) missing those 4 games in a vote this close of course is going to mean he finishes lower than he could have.

I'm trying to find the vote count to see where they both actually finished I reckon Waters is not far out of the top 10 but I'm interested to see where Nic Nat actually finished.
