yeah, that's why I said the examples I used for GWS weren't exactly fair, and why I wasn't going to go into GCs (not that tbag highlighted this), and why I went on to give examples from 6 other clubs, just going alphabetically through the team lists.

did you even read the second half of the post? I wasn't talking crap, I backed that up, and thought I did a really good job at it as well.

yes I did but you still said this which is what I was criticising...

I'd use GC as well, but to be fair expansion clubs do have an advantage with their picks... although so too does port with their showerness over the last couple of years.

my point being, we do not have an advantage thats GWS or GCS have, which is what you were implying.

Jolly was a very good junior and based on Port's picking of discarded players he fits right in, Macarthy (RIP) was the worst kick in the AFL and Pfieffer isn't much better, Ebert was a great get, but the fact McCarthy is gone means their is a spot, especially if Matt Thomas also goes, Rodan maybe to, Cassie and Kane are old, would make sence to pick up a decent 20yr old Jolly

oh, that's the bit you were talking about. Well, that was just a dig at port, although you guys have had a number of reasonably high picks in the last couple of seasons due to poor ladder standings- really bad time to crash and rebuild though.

Should have had better picks if it wasn't for bloody GWS and GCS.

yeah, it's been really bad timing for port, wbd, stk to start crashing.
