the AFL won't lose fans- the sub rule cleans up the game a bit, and if anything enhances the qualityof the game for the average footy joe- that's why they're looking at 2/2

4 can see the above point. As for 3, it wont dramatically reduce player development- most young players aren't used as a sub very often anyway, it does however prolong the playing span of the older players like power and black etc.

a midpricer has to be a past rookie who's looking to a breakout or a past gun who has been injured and coming back from injury.
