After struggling for games in his 4 years at Carlton, the 24 year old midfielder has cemented his spot in the Tigers midfield and is starting to cement his name as one the the real workhorse midfielders in the league. Grigg averages 98 in 2012 as he started to show what he is capable of and made a name for himself in dream team circles with some high celing scores. Griggs only downfall dream team wise is consistency, he is capable of big scores but he needs to consistently post these week in week out

69 102 142 100 89 87 114 127 97 92 87 78 95 120 97 74 87 115 122 95 75 82

He had 13 out of 22 games where he scored below 100, on the other hand he had 4 games where he scored over 120

If Grigg can turn some of the below 100 games into 100s and say he has 5-7 games below 100, then there is no doubt he can average 110

At just 24 years of age and starting to reach the peak of his career 2013 could be the year  Shaun Grigg becomes a household name

Minimum Average: 93
Maximum Average: 120
Predicted Average: 107

What position is he? He could be on my watch list.

Ziplock

he's mid only.

I'd predict a 90 average personally.

Adamant

Did you do this profile to pump him up for your Euro's? :P

Haha nah, nice write up FARK. If he was a defender, then absolute lock, but there are just too many other mids he has to compete with.

Ok, then he probably won't make my team

He is sort of on the verge of getting in my real dt, just wanna see some nab cup stats and then ill decide. If he can find consistency then he will be the story of 2013

why did joel selwood and jack redden both average 103 this year, despite averaging 109 last year? (in selwoods case 114 unsubbed)

not the best example, since they both underperformed this season.

But in order to under perform, you also have to be able to both perform as expected, and over perform.

and in griggs case, overperform is what he did this season.

Grigg spent 4 years at carlton struggling for games

He might be 24 but he is just starting to 'find his feet' or 'cement his place' at Tigers. He has improvement left in him and with Tuck, Deledio, Cotchin at tigers he isnt going to cop the best tagger like Redden and Selwood did

Toga

Should play off the wing most weeks, and i expect him to up his average a bit, but prolly won't make my team this year

The F.A.R.K.

If he can just be a bit more consistent and turn those 60s and 70s into 90s and 100s he will ave 105+

Ziplock

same with darren glass, if he could turn those 60s into 150s he'd be a great pick....

SydneyRox

can see him being a valuble pkayer, but nit DT relevant

Glass scores 60 every week, grigg just needs to turn 3-4 of those 60 games into 100 games and he is dt premium

A 24 year old 98 av mid not dt relevant! Sorry?!?!?! Andrew Swallow ave 99 in 2011 so was he not dt relevant last year? He was in a lot of teams! Jobe Watson ave 95-100 before last year. Is he not dt relevant also? Grigg is on the verge of beecoming dt elite just needs  some consistency and he could be ave 110!
