GEELONG veteran David Wojcinksi has announced his retirement, with Sunday's VFL Grand Final to be his final game for the Cats.

The three-time premiership player, who played 203 AFL games after making his debut in 1999, revealed his decision on Tuesday, the day that he turned 32.

Good on the man, he played a good career for the Cats. Always loved watching him take a run through the midfield and he has an awesome name, even half his team can't spell it. He really couldn't get a game this year which was sad to see, but more youth is getting a run for Geelong now. Hopefully he can win the VFL final this weekend to cap off a solid year for him the reserves.

I agree. When they were at their peak, Wojo, Hunt and Mackey formed a killer half back line.
