"LIAM JURRAH has quit Melbourne as he prepares to fight a court battle next year.

The injured 23-year-old has been on indefinite leave in recent weeks, staying with family in South Australia."

"Jurrah now needs to be selected by Port Adelaide or Adelaide to keep his AFL career alive."

That's a real shame. It would seem to suggest it is highly likely that he will be found guilty and may be sent to prison. I hope for his sake this will not be the case, and hopefully he gets another chance at AFL footy as Andy Krakouer did I think he has some real talent. Given ports situation they could do far worse than to pick him up, but I doubt Adelaide will pick him given the amount of quality forwards they have.

He could potentially be a good pickup in Dreamteam seeing as he has only played one game for 43 points.

Would pull crowds in at the gates if he did. :)
