Permanent live chat on FF (hint: m0nty says no)

Who agrees that having a chat room on this site would b wicked? It would b awesome to b able discuss certain aspects on fantasy with other online peeps, instead of the slow nature of the forum.

What do use reckon?

Yeah, I'm not going to do that. I like the chat during games, but I would want admin control at all times over something like that so I'm not going to have a chat going 24 hours a day. I don't want FF to be put on the government's black list!

fair enough mate. i dont  no if u got my email the other day, but i was wondering if i could get unblocked off the game day chat. not sure why i was blocked in the first place tbh

m0nty, ur comments accepted, and no-one should ask you to do it without solid pay (and then you'd need a team and a roster etc.).

For me, it's flat out keeping up as is. Pls, no live chat all week - I'd have to go somewhere else (maybe we'd all be better off!)

I love how it goes now. I think there's enough FanFooty fans that we could all do a bit ourselves to make it even better. Stop asking m0nty to do it, and start asking him to co-ordinate our own efforts.

I thought having a live chat page might be a fun idea, non stop chatting with fellow footy fans before and after games. Don't think there are any other sites that do this (not that i could find).

Reckon it would be a bit of fun.

I will not do this as I think it's important that the chat is monitored at all times, so that I can ban troublemakers and ensure that the chat is a good experience for all.

i agree m0nty but how about a forum chat on peak and off pek say like 6am-4pm on peak and of peak 4pm-6am and on peak can be supervised but the off pek doesnt really coz there is anyone rarley on...


plus you could do any time you wish if you do it...

i only go on after 4pm. Lots of people only get out of school/work after 4 - 5pm.
still don't think forums needs to be supervised too much. not too many trolls on here ;D.

also the instant chat might get chaotic at times if too many people are on it at one time.

The answer is still no.

I'm sure as the site grows, there will be more chances for live chats, e.g. during live podcasts, but they will have to be moderated.
