2 x trades left, 2 x finals for $$$. Do i load up or go safe??

Deledio, Scotland, Goddard, H Shaw, M Johnson, Birchall, Burgoyne (Smedts, Darley)

Ablett (C), Boyd, Swan , Thompson, Selwood, Pendelbury (Miles, Sexton)

Maric, Giles (Redden, Campbell)

Dangerman, Beams, Sidebottom, Chapman, Goodes, J Reiwoldt, Franklin (Dickson, Patton)

My Dilema: I have 2 trades remaining and $5000. Do i trade for cover (as i have no emergencies in defence or middle) and hope my selected team will do enough. Do i use both trades to load up on 1 premium or do i cross-trade 2 players????????

Any thoughts???

Could be more surprises tonight, which might force your hand. If nothing changes, i would go safe and get cover. Your team is pretty solid. The only people who you could think to upgrade is Johnson, who has stunk it up lately or Giles if you think your opponent is better

think i would downgrade somebody like Patton to whoever and upgrade Giles to maybe Goldstein or Jacobs both should do well this week vs weaker opponents

think or hope Johnson does ok vs Melb

See how you match up with your opponent first...if you feel good, then cover up! general soreness late withdrawals could pop up anywhere this week.

if not, roll the dice and bring in a premium.

I'm thinking i might downgrade Smedts to a cheaper bench option, Logan from Melbourne maybe. By doing this i have enough $$$$ to trade Miles to Fyfe in the mids and have some handy cover if 'the general' gets S Thompson - as is rumored.

OK, just did something totally different to my last post.

I traded Smedts to Drummond - risky but has potential to score reasonable.
And Miles to Wingard - he's in good form and can knock out a 60 or 70.

Any thoughts on this vs my earlier post?
