won all leagues except the one that matters last week.  luckily last week i got too merry  :o and forgot to trade meaning 3 trades and $180k.  (was fyfe and waters in so pretty happy bout that!)

my team atm...

Back - Goddard, hshaw, deledio, Lake, Carazzo, Scotland, S.Shaw ( Ellis, darley)
Mid - gaj, Pendles, sthomo, Jpk, jselwood, gibson (couch, swan)
Ruck - NicNat, mcevoy (BigO, Campbell)
Fwd - danger, sidebum, pav, Buddy, Chappy, Dusty, zorko (A.Kennedy, a.Hall)
i was all set to trade buddy to beams and chappy to SJ but as both are named not sure where to turn.  thinking s.shaw to birch/waters.  beams seems like a must have and SJ is hard to resist too...

thoughts????

my opponents team (uniques in bold):

Back - Goddard, hshaw, deledio, Dempsey, Carazzo, Birchall, Waters ( s.shaw, smedts)
Mid - Watson, Pendles, cotchin, priddis, barlow, dusty (pfeiffer, swan)
Ruck - cox, roughy (BigO, jenkins)
Fwd - danger, sidebum, pav, Buddy, Beams, lewis, zorko (d.smith, a.Hall)

cheers

Why sideways jselwood?
How bout Ellis to suckling
And zorko to beams?

bensl

yeah, definately not trading jelwwod.

zorko/beams is tempting.

could do

zorko & shaw -> beams & suckling
or zorko & ellis -> SJ & waters/birch (anyone)

hhhmmmmmmm....

Shaw > Birchall
Gibson > SJ/Fyfe

Move Zorko to the mids. Should just be able to afford that and you keep Zorko as a premium M/F backup once Swan comes back.

Stay away from Suckling...so inconsistent. if you're going to do Zorko to Beams i personally dont think there is anyone with the money yo will have worth trading in backline at that price.

In your position i would go swan to watson and zorko to beams...you cancel out his 2 biggest unique players and i'd say would win. It would still leave you with enough money to upgrade shaw the following week.

Personally don't believe you can leave 600k+ on the bench in an elimination game. No point saving swan if you cant get to the next week. Pull the trigger on swan!

i like that idea.  would leave me 0 cash for the last trade though.

not keen on trading swan as i think gibson (or zorko) should be good enough cover for 1 more week.

cheers

Yeah fair enough.

Another thing to consider is that Chappy still might be a late withdrawal. Good Luck

Your team will be set so that last trade would only be used in a sideways trade anyway and you get yourself an extra premium. I'd rather have Zorko covering my mids and forwards rather than just Gibson in the mids with no real decent reserve forward.

I wouldn't trade Swan either as he should be a good POD in the last couple rounds.
