Now Buddy's back (was thinking of trading due to lack of match practice, but may as well hold) is it better to play him or Goodesy? Adam been in average form, but has good record against Dogs. Worried Buds will vest or be vested -  but HUGE ceiling against GCS if not and finds touch.

yep tough one might be worth playing Goodes as you say good chance Buddy will wear a vest at some stage

Cam DM

Yeah, starting to lean towards Goodesy. Hoping Reid back in might free him up to find a bit more pill up the ground as well.

Colliwobblers

Buddy may only play 3/4 and in those 3/4 he may only score 3 times what Goodes does...

seriously Buddy

kilbluff1985

i think they might start him as the sub

DT Gun

If anything buddy will be subbed off after half time

But he might even be a late withdrawal

Affliction

If buddy is subbed he will still most likely have a decent score he will be looking to get back in front for the coleman medal.

no late withdrawal. no sub. he just had 5 WEEKS off for a hammy. they wouldn't even contemplate bringing him back unless he was ready to play a full game. they need match fitness into him now. if anything he'll just stay close to goals and even then he'll destroy goodes.
if you have him you'd be mad not to play him.

+1 There will be a plan just like they did with Hodge

Ricochet

a few boys have said it already, if Buddy gets subbed its because they're up by 15 goals and buddy's kicked 5 already. so even if he does get subbed he'll probably get 60-70. Goodes hasn't been much better.
And if he is a late withdrawal you'll have Goodes as emergency
and personally imo i think buddy's had long enough to get over his hammy so i don't think he's very likely to get subbed. maybe if it was a knee injury, but not a hammy
