QuoteRoss Lyon has passionately defended Aaron Sandilands' last-minute inclusion to the team in Saturday's 22-point win over Richmond after Tigers coach Damien Hardwick questioned the integrity of the move

Hardwick is a sook. I mean come on, if Sandilands is listed as emergency there's always a chance he would play. Therefore u prepare as if he was def playing. Hope u guys beat North would love to see Freo make the 8.

Cicjose

you have to prepare for all players in the squad regardless of lineup

he wasn't saying he wasn't prepared for sandi, I think he was more making the point that if griffin didn't have a legitimate injury, then it was against the spirit of the game, which it would have been. But, I'm personally satisfied with the AFL's inquiry into the matter, and Hardwick should as well. I'm still upset- Griffins withdrawal dropped me out of a lot of finals.

Did you see Lyon's eyes in the press conference afterwards? Lol would not want to be a reporter in that room then.

He said on 6PR during the week that he was looking for a media person to challenge him.  He wasnt very happy with the accusation.

to be fair, it did look really suspect. But as I said, the afl looked into it, and it was all legit, so nobody should really be complaining.
