Only 3 players of concern for Freo

Pav - Massive loss but is still contract for 2 more seasons
McPharlin - Big loss but can be covered by Silvagni/Faulks (obviously not as good) - Signed on for 2 more seasons
Sandilands - Griffin has proven he can hold his own as the ruck so not actually big issue (no pun intended)

And lets look at these 3

Pav was sensational last year and doesnt look like slowing any time soon.  Nearly won the Coleman and was only perma forward in the back half of the season
McPharlin finally was recognised with AA this season. Some could take that as his best season ever
Sandilands is 211cm - he may get slower but he doesnt get any shorter.

richmond has the youth, freo probably doesn't. Dockers have a year, maybe 2 to get a flag (unless they do insane recruiting). After that Pav, Sandi, Mcpharlin will be either retired, slowing down.
